• Question: If we were to colonise mars would we able to farm livestock there or would they have to be in space suits too?

We would have to think carefully about what we would farm- cows for example produce methane, which we could use as fuel, but they also needs lots of space and water to be happy. I think it would be easier, and nicer for any animals, if we farmed under domes, so that the whole field was protected rather than having a cow in a spacesuit.

I wonder how we would get cows to mars- and how to stop the cow pats floating about :/ ?!
