• Question: why is our universe called the milky way

      Joao: It is not our Universe, but our Galaxy that we called the milky way. And the reason for that name is simple: in a dark night (away from the city lights), you will be able to see many stars. Many of which are in our galaxy. And the shape they make in the sky is kinda like a white stripe going accross the sky from one side to the other, a kind of white road – thus the name: Milky Way! 🙂
