Columbus Operations answered on 22 Jun 2016:
Joao: I think it definetly already affects people. At least I know it affects the Astronauts. We are the ones responsible for everything so that they are safe and they can perform all the experiments.
Which means that we are also contributing to all the science and all the research that is performed on the ISS and is constantly helping people down here on Earth: development of better medicine, finding new materials and technologies. Space technology is in a lot more things than you can imagine: your phone, cars, weather forecasts, and many others. -
Andrea Boyd answered on 23 Jun 2016:
Our work as a Eurocom connects the scientists on Earth and the Astronauts in space!
