• Question: Would we ever be able to walk on or land space buggies on gas giants like Jupiter or Saturn?

      Joao: This is a very cool question! Unfortunately no, Jupiter and Saturn don’t really have a “surface”. They are mostly made out of gas. So you would just fall inside the planet, if you tried to land.

      What Joao said – you’d need to ‘surface hover’ in a spacecraft with *good* life support.

      I guess you could float about in a balloon, but like Joao said, so walking- it would be like walking on clouds
