Probably not- although you might feel tired after all the excitement of space flight!

We don’t instantly become weak- it takes time for the muscles and bones to change- otherwise we would go to bed nice and strong and wake up in the morning all weak and helpless!

During the early spaceflights, which where only a few hours or days long, and during space shuttle missions, which lasted up to about 2 weeks, the astronauts could walk around unaided when they got back to Earth. They did do exercise on Shuttle missions though.

No – when Andy did his whole IriSS mission and stayed in space for just 10 days he was totally fine when he returned to walk and didn’t have much change in muscles/bones/eyes etc.
