• Question: Does the excitement of being weightless wear off after a while

      Hi liz,

      I imagine going into space is the most exciting experience of a person’s life.

      Astronauts are always so busy on the International Space Station (ISS) so there is no time to be bored as every day is exciting. We always hear stories about astronaut discovering new things about being weightless – from brushing your teeth to eating and sleeping.

      Every day brings new things so the excitement does not go!

      Yes – and it kind of has to. Whatever situation we are in as humans we can adapt to it and see it as ‘normal’ – and when you’re in space if you thought about how crazy amazing it is you’d never get any work done! 😀
