Don’t worry there is no such thing as a silly question- and smart comes with practice, so you have lots of time to get better 🙂

it’s about 490 light years from Earth

Joao: Hi PootisBird. I am sure you are smarter than you think!

“Kepler 186f” is a planet orbiting a star called “Kepler 186”. The names are not a coincidence. It’s just the way we name stars and planets until we find a better name for them. This star and all its planets (we found 5 so far) are all 490 light-years away from Earth.

      Hi PootisBird,

You already know what Kepler 186f is so you must be quite smart 😉
