Vinita Marwaha answered on 24 Jun 2016:
The European Robotic Arm (ERA) will be used on the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS). It’ll be controlled by cosmonauts inside the space station and by cosmonauts conducting EVAs (or spacewalks) outside the ISS. The robotic arm will be used to relocate modules of the space station from one part to another and to transport cosmonauts during spacewalks.
