Space Shuttle could carry the most amount of people- I think 8 was the biggest crew.

Soyuz can carry 3 people, but it is a tight squeeze!

on the old shuttles they took 7 usually, a few times 8.

The first human space capsules just took 1 person.
Then all the ones after that took 3 people.
Soyuz has three seats and it’s the only way to get to and from space since 5 years ago so the current maximum and minimum is three! 🙂

Inside the ISS we normally have a full crew of 6 people or a half crew of 3 people (because it’s the changeover week where three go back to Earth in their Soyuz and the next three launch in another Soyuz) but a few times for short special occasions we have had 9 people.
(The ISS life support system is designed for 6 people)

The maximum even on the ISS one time we once for a very short time had 13 people (when a shuttle was docked briefly).
