      Hi Shannon,

As a child when I learnt about humans landing on the moon I was completely amazed by space.

Looking up at the moon and thinking people actually walked there still to this day blows my mind!

Yep. I loved looking at the night sky and thinking about the stars. Thought about becoming as astronomer as am a night owl anyway but the ISS was too awesome a project so I chose engineering and with that scored many years of nightshifts also 😉

Nope- I like looking at stars and the Moon but don’t like being out in the cold night. I think this is mostly because my parents hot drink of choice for sky watching when I was little was Bovril- blurgh! So astronomy isn’t really for me. I prefer being cozy and warm in my lab with people 🙂
