Most astronauts stay on ISS for about 6 months. Last year an astronaut and a cosmonaut stayed for a whole year, Scott Kelly was one of them. There are also very short flights of 10 days, called taxi-flights, which happen when an old Soyuz is replaced by a new one.

All ISS Astronauts stay for 6 months missions. We’re in a routine by now. There was one exception last year where Scott and Misha stayed for almost a year and Aidyn and Andy went to ISS for 10days (so the pilot of Scott and Misha could change because he had a normal 6month mission and also Soyuz can only be in space a maximum of 210 days).
