• Question: is it possible to count how many stars there are?

      You can calculate the visible stars in the Sky as an experiment by just using a toilet roll – download the Counting Stars pdf here: http://spaceschool.com/experiments.html

      Visible stars from Earth are a pretty small number (hint: it’s only in the thousands – you’ll get the answer when you do the above experiment)

      Total in the universe it’s a ridiculous amount – something like a billion trillion… (100 thousand million just in our Milky Way!)
